Steel tool boxes and cabinets-The drawers and storage space are measured showing the "internal" dimension,ie.that inside the box or cabinet.This gives a more accurate assessment of the area inside the products-as the steel used to mark the metal boxes can be up to 3 or 4mm tick. Plastic tool boxes,steel storage cabinets and tool cases-These are measured showing the "external" dimension,ie.that outside.Generally these are made form thinner materials and the internal measurement is not as critical.
